Legal Associates partnered with Women in Law from the University of Auckland to raise awareness towards Breast Cancer. A Pink Ribbon event was organized and attended by 30 university students. Representatives from the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ attended. Our Partner Ashima Singh as a guest speaker addressed the students. Unfortunately the client did not disclose that a previous visa had been declined. INZ raised serious concerns based on this as well as the financial sustainability of the company. On 27th of June, Legal Associates joined Loan Market (Waitakere), Barfoot & Thompson and organised a seminar for property investors. We held our very first Eid Milan dinner with the Muslim Community on 1st July 2018. The Eid Milan dinner was organised by our young Lawyer Haseeb Ashraf and hosted by Legal Associates. This was attended our valued clients, media partners, business partners and delegates from various Muslim Organisations. Our staff solicitor Haseeb Ashraf thanked our distinguished guests for attending and expressed our desire at Legal Associates of working with the Muslim community in servicing their legal needs and educating them as to their legal rights.
