Himanshu has practiced mainly on the civil side and has been an admitted barrister and solicitor in New Zealand since May 2011. The main areas of practice of Himanshu are conveyancing – residential and commercial and specialising in child care centre(s), liquor stores, dairy shops and all sorts of business related transactions, commercial and civil matters, leases, wills, trusts and estates, family law related matters, employment law and matters related to compliance.
He has also practiced law from 30th April 1987 to 9th October 2002 in the Gujarat High Court as also Ahmedabad City Civil and Sessions Court mainly and other courts in the State of Gujarat as also various tribunals and quasi judicial bodies.

Completed Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at Faculty of Law, University of Colombo-Sri Lanka and Master of laws (LLM) at Te Piringa, Faculty of Law, University of Waikato.
After successfully completing Attorneys-at-Law final examination and the Practical Training Course conducted by the Incorporated Council of Legal Education in Sri Lanka, I admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2018 and practised civil and criminal law while appearing in District Courts, Magistrate Courts, Commercial High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
Worked as a volunteer/caseworker for Community Law Waikato and Waikato Ethnic Family Services Trust in New Zealand.
