The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a government owned tertiary education institution with three campuses: Hawke’s Bay, Auckland, and Gisborne, New Zealand. The Franklin Institute of Agri-Technology (Franklin Agritech) is located south of Auckland on the fringes of major vegetable growing area of New Zealand. This NZQA-registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) is housed on a 24 acres agricultural production site and operates as part and parcel of the Rupex Group of companies. Their broad vision is to provide relevant academic and practical training in the area of horticultural production to fulfil the needs of the horticultural industry.


Unitec Institute of Technology is the largest institute of technology in Auckland, New Zealand. 16,844 students study programmes from certificate to postgraduate degree level (levels 1 to 9) across a range of subjects from architecture to zookeeping. Unitec is a member of the International Association of Universities.


Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) is the largest tertiary education institution in the province of Taranaki, New Zealand. The institute has two campuses around Taranaki; the main campus is situated in New Plymouth, and the other is located in Hawera. WITT is accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Since 2009, WITT has welcomed their highest number of students in more than a decade

Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) is the largest privately owned tertiary institute in Auckland, New Zealand. The institute now has two campuses in Mt Albert: St Helens Campus, located at 28a Linwood Ave and Asquith Campus, located at 120 Asquith Ave. AIS offers bachelor and masters level degree programmes in business, information technology, tourism management, and hospitality management.
